A Jewish Israeli woman, daughter of holocaust survivors, marries the Star of David, the symbol of the national Jewish identity and a symbol of hope for territorial safety; a symbol also of the corruption of power and the longing to overcome the splitting through religion and politics. On her way to Jerusalem where she wants to attend the independence day-ceremony, a woman is haunted by images of destruction, devastation, captivity, guilt and punishment.
